Jessie

Jessie King in September 2006. She is a grad student in the MA program here at Missouri and she has often looked after our pets if our family was out of town. When we were in Mexico last summer she found that one of the mice had bitten the head off a cage mate. It was very upsetting.

Annie's Birthday

A little late (sorry, Annie!) but it was a nice time - we traveled to Minnesota to celebrate the 19th anniversary of her birth. Sweet.

Chris' birthday - a big one...

Alan turned 11 - had a birthday dinner with the family plus Lynn and Elliot and James - and a sleepover with the boys.

Mom's Funeral

Dan passing by the grave site after Mom's funeral. It was a blustery day. It started to rain, turned to sleet, turned to snow. It was a hard day but we thought Mom had earned her rest.

Picking a muscial instrument

Like I say, Alan chose percussion - but several of his mates from school (five of them?) chose the tuba. When Alan told me this, it sent me into hysterics.
